The 5,500 m² hall P4 will house the assembly, logistics and dispatch of large-volume machines
The new hall makes HUBER production even more efficient and flexible.

Around 13,000 m² of additional roof space on halls P3 (in operation since summer 2023) and P4 offer plenty of potential to break new ground in energy supply and will be equipped with a PV system of around 1,100 kWp.
Until mid-2023, the production area at the HUBER headquarters in Berching was approx. 31,000 m². After the new production hall P3 was put into operation in summer 2023 and the construction work on the assembly and logistics hall P4 has now been completed, this area has grown to approx. 44,000 m².
The logistics effort will be significantly reduced and the processes for order planning, order picking and communication will also be further improved. Thanks to the loading and unloading infrastructure, which is optimally tailored to the requirements of HUBER production, it will also be possible to react much more flexibly to different projects in the future.
Further growth: even stronger and more flexible production
The company's strategic orientation is geared towards further growth. In addition to growth in the market, the HUBER machines to be manufactured are also becoming larger and larger. This is mainly due to the company's continuous expansion into new product segments and the development of new processes and methods in water treatment. The areas of application are diverse and, in addition to classic municipal wastewater treatment, the industrial sector is also becoming increasingly important and changing the product landscape.
Shift work largely abolished, better working conditions
With the expansion of production, HUBER is also responding to a fundamental development in the labour market. Thanks to the expanded space, shift work has been abolished in large parts of production and the working conditions for employees have been significantly improved.
Sustainable and energy-independent: comprehensively planned new halls
The topics of sustainability and energy independence have become much more important in recent years. 13,000 m² of additional roof space on Halls P3 and P4 offer plenty of potential to break new ground in terms of energy supply. They will therefore be equipped with a PV system of around 1,100 kWp as part of the construction work.
In principle, the energy generated in this way is to be used for the company's own requirements and, for example, to supply the heat pump technology now being used for the first time in P3 and P4 for hall heating. To this end, planning has been carried out in accordance with the latest insulation standards in industrial construction and highly energy-efficient new buildings have been erected.
